OUR REUNION WAS A TREMENDOUS SUCCESS, FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND JUNE 17-19, 2022
Ana Ramirez-Saenz, Felicitas Garcia Benavides, Olga Garcia Lugo, and Jose A. Garcia thought it was a good idea to celebrate the passing of the COVID ordeal with a long-needed family reunion.
We selected the weekend of Father's Day 2022, June 17-19 in San Antonio, Texas as being the most centralized location for most of our families to attend.
It took us a year to decide, plan and coordinate what we thought was an easy thing to do. Not even close! Thank you Ana for applying your organizational skills, keeping records and kicking butt when any of us dropped the ball. In the end it was all worth it! Just seeing the smiles of everyone brought memories of us growing up and the great times we had as a family. Of course, many were missed, but were remembered: Buelita Fela, Tio Juan, Tia Luz, Catalina, Santiago, Tia Carmen, my dad and others too many to list.

Many of us had not seen many of our families for a number of years that it was a great joy to see them. We held our first event at Taco Palenque Grill in San Antonio, Texas.
The organizing committee did so well in coordinating the events with some highlights as the photo booth, train ride and Loteria. "Buena con El Borracho!"
It was an emotional event reliving memories, celebrating Father's Day, and parting away. thank you Ana, Olga, Fela for doing an outstanding job. Until next time!
